Romanticized violence and fading ideals have shaped an old industrial neighborhood in southern Poland. Kucharski returns to the place where he grew up, reflecting on a youth he observed from the sidelines rather than fully experienced. Through staged scenes and conversations with locals, he creates an idealized portrait of boyhood in his old neighborhood.
